Always our go to when we can't make up our minds. To be honest, the pancakes have went way way downhill..... So maybe try something else.

They forgot part of my order, that I had delivered for specific reasons. Their only option to correct is was having me come get it. The employee who answered the phone was extremely disrespectful. The manager whom I spoke to was even more disrespectful. I’d avoid this place as they obviously have 0 common courtesy.

Love this place. The food is always good. It's good old fashioned diner food. There is a good variety and ice cream. Servers are always pleasant. Not expensive either.

Its little diner we stumbled upon while looking for lunch after Arti Gras. It was ok and we left full. It was definitely busy with locals enjoying adequate sunday brunch or maybe lunch. I had Dans Big Boy Burger combo and left most of my fries behind due to the large portion. I would visit again. The first waitress that greeted us seemed as though she'd been waitressing for too many years, the second and third ladys were equally acceptable. I hope they split their tips. Wait who's our server?

Great food..great service..the male waiter with the tattoos is great..place was packed and he still managed to give my family and i great service.

Ordered takeout and the order was half wrong. Cashier at the time was extremely rude, and you could tell she didn't want to be there. Terrible customer service.

Ignore the blurry photos. It was my sad attempt to capture the MOST DELICIOUS MUSHROOM SOUP I'VE EVER HAD. I'm not exaggerating. Not even a little. Definitely not vegetarian friendly, because it had little bits of cooked beef in it. I was surprised and thrilled. It was soooo savory. Lots of big mushroom slices. Not like the typical cream of mushroom soups with lots of cream and very little mushroom. Perfect ratio of cream and mushroom and pieces of beef and savory. Rest of our dinner? Good, decent, typical diner fair. Great prices. Reasonable service. BUT THE MUSHROOM SOUP WAS FREAKING AMAZING.

The food has always been fantastic. The wait staff however is embarrassing. Whoever does the hiring must not have very high standards.

Friendly Staff and th food was great. We stopped for breakfast and left stuffed !! Highly recommend. Eggs, bacon, sausage,hashbrowns and pancakes. Times 2. OJ and coffee. 20 bucks. Can't go wrong

We were never waited on by our waitress. The couple who came in after us got waited on immediately. We weren't happy with the service so we left and ate somewhere else.

Not being from the area I was looking for a nice family style restaurant in this one fit the bill! It is small it is well decorated everyone is so friendly it is a hustle bustle type of environment which I really enjoy. The prices are very reasonable the portions are very large I would highly recommend this place to anyone who loves family style restaurants.

The Black Stone is a great local example of a family friendly dinner where you get exactly what you expect in Green Bay. Lots of good, freshly made and flavorful food for a fair price, delivered to your table as fast as the waitstaff can get it to you.Give it a try some Saturday morning for breakfast and you'll be happy you did, and full till lunch!

Only reason I give it to Stars it would have been more if they got the meal right we ordered the Skillets eggs sunny side up and they both came scrambled they must have been understaffed in the cooking area because it took a while to get our food done the waitress was very good in comping one of our meals because of it cuz they had to take one back and get all new stuff made for it the eggs

The waiter was exceptionally well versed not only with us ,but with the children as well.l! Food was delightful. I had chicken dumpling soup and the dumplings were as if my grandma made em!!! That doesn't happen!! Lol I will visit again for sure!!

Best Service I have had in a long time!

Ordered carry out. When i went to pick up order, social distancing wasn't being practiced nor were customers or staff wearing masks. Truly NOT a contact free experience. I won't be returning.

Gotta love the embiance of an old school diner! As soon as we walked in the doors, the smell was euphoric. The environment was friendly. The realest of real! The food was superb! I'm glad there are still places like this to experience the warmth of a family values style eatery! Good stuff!

The food was so good. Especially the French toast. Really hit the spot.

Nice little friendly spot that I had never been to before. Thankfully, I found it here and tried it out. My server Jen provided Fast and friendly service for breakfast. Good prices and nice sized portions. Be aware they don't accept the Check in Offer, but you really don't need the discount. I'll definitely stop here again the next time I'm in Green Bay.

I have made a habit of coming here whenever I am in town. The best coffee. The best food. The best everything. If I want to go and eat and relax and just be happy with my significant other. We would choose no other place.

Food was good. I had ordered a meatloaf and it was alright. My kid enjoyed the mac n cheese. Service was good.

Fantastic food & friendly staff. You could tell a lot of locals dine here. And you can also order food for delivery through door dash. The first night in town they were one of few restaurants open past 10pm, we ordered food to be delivered to our hotel it was still hot when delivered. On our way out of town we stopped to eat here. It's so good we have added it to our must stop places whenever we're in town.

The service was absolutely terrible worst experience I’ve ever had, we waited 45 minutes and we never even got our drinks or our food but they did try to give us someone else’s food tho so we just walked out and went somewhere else to eat by the time they would give us our food it would probably be cold. Not to mention after she gave us the menu they took like 10 minutes to come back and they weren’t even that busy I would not recommend this place and I probably will never go there again I would love to say how their food was but, we never got it and we walked out so I couldn’t tell you how their food was. Also no one was wearing masks and they had regular menus, honestly the only thing they did about social distancing was have some tables you couldn’t sit at.

Food is cheap and pretty decent. We always get the ice cream after our meals.Service is pretty good, but they have a coupe waitresses that aren’t too excited to be there. Understandable, the place is open 24/7!Atmosphere is definitely a strange one.. food gets 4/5, price is 5/5 and customer service also gets a 4/5 from me!

Delicious food. Good service. Nice waitresses. Very over priced pie and cheesecake. Big verity of foods. Laid back, homie feeling. Could be a tad bit cleaner on the salt shakers and ketchup bottles but overall it's good

Wat this owner says to his customers is not very nice in fact it is very rud and nasty when a customer tells u that your staff are says some stuff about your manager and how nasty he is to the employees. You are just letting him know wat the issue is and he say u need to mind your own business. Is not very nice to the customers. I have screen shots of wat was said i wish i could upload them but i can't so if u would like them np i would gladly share them without a problem

Always excellent food. The staff is normally fast,,efficient, and courteous. Best greasy spoon in Green Bay! Open 24 hours a day, and breakfast all day and night! What's not to love?!The food is good and reasonably priced and the staff is usually super friendly. I've never had a bad experience here!

Fast service.but cold fries

I ordered a fish fry for takeout one Friday night during the COVID-19 pandemic. The whole process was very easy and the fish was delicious. I placed my order online, and it took roughly 15 min before it was ready. At pickup, they have all the orders lined up on the counter clearly labeled to who they belonged to. Truly a contactless experience. The perch plate was plenty to fill me up, including 4 good size filets, a hefty side of fries, coleslaw and marble rye bread. A true WI tradition!

It was alright great if you want a restaurant style food quickly and cheap.

Super classic greasy spoon diner food, if you're expecting something else go elsewhere... if you want breakfast things like pancakes or a hash brown sandwich or country fried steak, it totally gets the job done! The only thing I consistently get from the lunch / dinner portion of the menu is the Big Boy Burger(Big Mac variation) which is pretty phenomenal! That with one of their chocolate shakes if you're hungover it's pretty much the most amazing thing in the entire world. My one complaint is their French fries! They're crinkle cut style and they're just not good, very Bland and what taste is there isn't great... Get new fries Blackstone! Did just find out that they have tater tots as a substitution option for the fries which does make me happy.

The conversations have really changed since I was in college. The restaurant has great food and the waitstaff is very friendly and never missed refills. Perhaps it was just before suppertime and the drug dealers were there. The restaurant is cleaner than it was in 2008. Very nice remodel.
